Abstract:
The ion exchange behavior of silver and bismuth ions on sulphydryi cotton was studied. Ag+ and bi3+ were adsorbed from HNO3 solution and eluted easily with 3 ml of 6 N-HCL.The detection limits were estimated to be 0.003 μg for Ag,0.007 μg for Bi. The relative standard deviations of Ag (0.04 μg) and Bi (0.26μg)were about 6.94 and 13.1% respectively (n=15).
